Setting IMDSV2 hop limit to 1

We are running containers on EKS and as part of security improvement, the security team want us to to set the IMDSV2 hop limit to 1 . I want to know:

1. What goes missing if we set the hop limit to 1
2. Can datadog agent be able to access all the needed tag without using the IMDS?
3. Can we get IMDSV2 to work with hop limit of 1?
