NVIDIA App settings keep resetting

My NVIDIA App settings (G-Sync and global graphic settings) keep resetting. I think this started with this driver installed as I use it only when I want to remote play on my PC and I switch off my monitor so that it doesnt stay on...I use the virtual display driver to keep displaying when I remote to my PC through moonlight.

Could my resets be caused by this driver?

Personally I've not had an issue with this, so I cant tell you if it is, but to me, that just sounds like the nvidia gpu driver updating and resetting settings. Could perhaps be the bug with windows where it doesnt contain same display guid over restarts, then in which case it would be the drivers fault, but like the problem with working on a project which relies on windows core drivers is the fact that we can't 100% guarantee it to work the same for one person then it will another due to windows versions not having the same iddcx version or umdf version
