ERIN is a Silicon Valley native, born and raised, a computational designer, artist, and software engineer hybrid, author, educator. She works as lead co-editor and contributor of the O’Reilly collective anthology, Creating Augmented and Virtual Realities (March 2019 release), focused on teaching cross-platform software development of immersive and emerging technology. In 2017, Erin was selected as a Diversity Fellow at the USF’s Data Science Institute in the Deep Learning program and is also a participant in the 2018 cohort of Oculus Launch Pad. In 2015, Erin co-founded 2 national professional development and education organizations, FASTER and ARVR Academy, which focus on diversity and inclusion serving women and underrepresented communities in tech. In her prior career, she worked as official electoral campaign staff to elect then-candidate, now Congressman Ro Khanna (California Congressional District 17, former U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce) and co-founder of Tech For Obama, Steve Spinner on digital strategy, finance, ethnic media, and Filipino American voter outreach. Erin earned her BA f rom UC Berkeley.

Charity is currently a Safety Practice Lead and manages a team of consultants in the US West. Some areas of expertise include Safety Management, Federal and State Regulations, Emergency & Disaster Planning, Workplace Violence Prevention, and Safety Programs and Training. She believes in building community wherever you go, and is a strong advocate for mentorship programs. Aside f rom her roles in PAAC and FASTER, Charity founded a non-profit called Tech-In-Color, focused on connecting underrepresented minority students to professionals of color working in the Bay Area tech industry.

DR. DAZA is a senior statistician at Clarify Health, a health tech company for improving patient care through software solutions for patients, clinicians, providers, and payers. He also leads the Causes and Associations in Single-Individual Analysis (CASIA) Project for individualized discovery of health-related causes and effects using machine learning and data f rom wearable devices, sensors, and apps.Prior to Clarify Health, Eric J. was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Stanford Prevention Research Center. He had previously earned his DrPH in Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Earlier, he had completed his MPS in Applied Statistics and BA in Neurobiology at Cornell University. He has worked in both industry and academia; specifically, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, clinical trials, survey sampling, global nutrition, maternal/child health, and health promotion / disease prevention. His interests include causal inference, longitudinal analysis, n-of-1/single-subject studies, public health, minority health, the microbiome, and gun violence.

As Justice Funders’ Innovation Director, MARIO pilots and scales both innovation and coordinated action that advances social movements. Mario comes to the organization via Stanford’s d.school, where he served as a 2017 Civic Innovation Fellow, and currently holds the position of Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Guidestar, and is founder of the technology platform, Giving Side.Mario co-founded New American Leaders, a national organization training first- and second- generation immigrants to run for elected office. He has held leadership positions at the Kapor Center for Social Impact, as well as the Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation. He built significant community organizing experience as the National Coordinator of Racial Justice 911 and at CAAAV in the Northwest Bronx.Mario is a long-time philanthropic and nonprofit consultant, speaker and trainer. He is an advisor to the High Net Worth POC Donor Collaborative, Digital Impact and New Media Mentors. He is a graduate of Columbia University.

MERIAM “YAMI” BAUTISTA, Chair of Filipinas in Computing, a subgroup of Asian Women in Computing and AnitaB.Org Systers Community . She was a Grace Hopper Scholarship Recipient in 2015. She was the founding Vice-President of the Filipino Student Council in New South Wales. Also an active IEEE volunteer in NSW section, as secretary for IEEE Women in Engineering NSW Affinity Group, Past chair of IEEE-UTS Student Branch and Chair for IEEE WiE Education under Education Society. Meriam is originally f rom Bukidnon, Philippines and now lives in Sydney, Australia. She holds a B.S. in Electronics and Communications Engineering degree from MSU–Iligan Institute of Technology, Philippines and M.S. in Microelectronics f rom National Taipei University in Taiwan. Currently, is she pursuing her PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia, doing research in the area of passive integrated circuit design for millimetre wave applications.

EARL is a venture advisor for start-ups and corporate innovation teams where he focuses on growing companies or emerging business units f rom seed to scale. Based in San Francisco, he is currently a Managing Director at Charles Schwab Company. He was part of the Advanced Engineering team for Dell EMC and previously was the Program Manager for Corporate Data at Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund. He is passionate about the intersection of innovation and impact and is a member of the World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders community and awarded by the President of the Philippines as one of the Ten Most Outstanding Young Men and Women of the country.Earl co-founded QBO, the National Innovation Center of the Philippines and IdeaSpace Foundation, an incubator and accelerator based in Manila with $12M in funding and 50+ impact-focused portfolio companies.

KENDRICK GELUZ KHO spent his childhood between Manila and the San Francisco Bay Area. From this bicultural upbringing, he entered Stanford University, studying energy technology with the intention of improving living conditions in emerging nations. In the years following, he spent time working in renewable energy, virtual reality, and management consulting. He holds a MS in Management Science and Engineering, a BS in Earth Systems, and a BS in Science, Technology, and Society, all f rom Stanford.Currently an investment associate at Hone Capital, Kendrick aims to help fledgling companies in Southeast Asia. He is particularly interested in fintech, blockchain, and ML/AI startups. Outside of his work, Kendrick enjoys playing multiple sports, including football and soccer. He was influenced by the early Bay Area DJ Turntabalist/Mobile, BBoy/Girl, MCing, and Street Art Scene including some of the greats DJ Q-Bert, D-Styles, Mix Master Mike, The Bangerz, DJ SwiftRock (R.I.P.), MindMotion, Chrismixx, AM, and many more. Q’s clientele includes a long list of of Silicon Valley’s tech companies including Microsoft and Cisco. When not DJing, DJ Qzr loves spending time with his family including his 3 children in Santa Clara. He continues to volunteer his time DJing school fundraisers and coaching Little League Baseball.
