The local synchronization cache is obfuscated, and the cache files can only be accessed within the mounted drive. You can recover unsynchronized files from the cache by moving them from the mounted drive to a different place on your local disk. |

This issue was fixed in version 4.17.4 (snapshot build). It's working like a charm! Thanks to the developers. |

Hey guys, I have to say I’m desperate here. I decided to sync ~225GB of files using the SMB protocol, and it filled up my HDD with cache.
But the sync using this protocol is extremely slow!!! I’m on a local wired network, 1 GBPS.
I went through the cache to check, but it’s just a bunch of binary files spread across several directories, and I couldn't find any way to restore them.
Does anyone know what to do besides me crying?
Every time I start Mountain Duck, the sync begins at around 15 MB/sec, but then it gradually drops to just 300 KB/sec. I think this might be due to some kind of resume mechanism.
