I was about to open a PR removing Orchid from the list of Site Generators, given that it hasn't seen any updates since 2021, and the website https://orchid.run/ actually goes to a scam advertisement site at this point, suggesting the domain has lapsed as well.
However before doing so, I figured it would make sense to ask: What is the preferred way to deal with dead projects?
Deleting them off the list is the simple solution, but I also don't love the idea of simply erasing these projects from the record. It might be of help to future web travelers to find the entry, along with some details about why the project no longer fits on the list., some sort of tombstone.
