Clipping/distortion noise

I am using the version ESP32-audioI2S @ 3.0.13+sha.8d9eee1 and the following happens to me:
I play an mp3 that I leave attached, and the first 2 seconds +- cause a type of cutting/distortion noise
Any ideas why this might be happening?

Hi @tv4you2016,
I can't reproduce the error. Is your DAC controlled via MCLK, like the AC101?
I am using a PCM5102 (with SCLK) and don't have this noise. This is my test file that I ran in a loop.

A lot has changed in the area of I2S with IDF V5. It could be a PLL problem.

Yes, my dac is controlled via MCLK (the example can be found in main.cpp.txt)
