Vector Agent Log Push Issue and Metrics Logging

Hello everyone,

I have a setup where the Vector agent is installed on multiple machines. I've noticed that on some nodes, the Vector agent retains logs in memory and does not push them to Datadog as expected. Interestingly, when I restart the Vector service (installed as a Windows service), the logs start appearing in Datadog.

Could anyone help diagnose what might be causing this issue?

Additionally, I'm looking for a way to monitor dropped logs, logs in the queue, and processed logs. Is there a method to log this information to a specific destination? Can the internal_metrics or internal_logs features assist with this? if yes can you please help with the configuration.
