These generated files mostly wrap and duplicate and original files. Altough they're sources to the compiler, their not sources for the user and/or editor but intermediate files. We already translate compiler error messages back to the original files, hence the user/editor should not need to deal with these intermediate files.
Having both sources and derived sources along each other is likely the cause for the IDE sometime jumping to the generate files instead of the original files.
